Ladybirds Nursery
3 Years provision
Our pre-school environment has been thoughtfully designed to foster choice-making across the various Curriculum learning areas. It features three main spaces: the focused learning room, the imagination room, and the creative room. While every child progresses at their own unique pace and their individual accomplishments may differ, all are encouraged to engage in playful activities aimed at achieving desirable outcomes. By the time they leave Ladybirds, they are well-prepared to embark on their Reception class journey at school.
Play Based Learning
Through play, children are encouraged to explore, observe, and listen, enabling effective learning. They are given the freedom to progress at a pace that suits them, while expanding their understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Small World
Small world play is an essential element of our approach to fostering creativity, imagination, and critical thinking in children. We provide thoughtfully curated small world setups that allow children to engage in miniature, hands-on scenarios reflecting real-life experiences or fantastical environments.
Adult guided learning
focused adult-guided activities are thoughtfully designed to provide children with structured and intentional learning opportunities, complementing their free play experiences. These activities are tailored to support specific learning objectives and developmental milestones, while ensuring they are engaging, hands-on, and enjoyable for the children.
Imaginative Play
Imaginative play is a key part of fostering creativity and self-expression in children. Our carefully designed spaces provide the perfect environment for children to engage in pretend play and explore their creativity imagination and social interactions
